The Lerchenhof is a high-quality holiday home on the Swabian Alb, located in a former farmhouse that was completely renovated and modernized in 2014. Today, the Lerchenhof offers two lovingly furnished holiday apartments that combine rural charm, a connection with nature, and modern comforts – ideal for a relaxing holiday on the Swabian Alb.
The two apartment homes were furnished to a high standard and fully equipped in 2016. There are two apartments, one measuring approximately 75 square meters and the other 90 square meters, each spread over two floors and offering ample space for couples, families, vacationers, and business travelers. The accommodations are perfect for a short break, weekend getaway, family vacation, hiking trip, nature retreat, or simply a peaceful escape in Baden-Württemberg.
The Lerchenhof is located in Erzingen, a village belonging to Balingen in the Zollernalb district. It enjoys a quiet, natural setting yet offers excellent transport links to the B27 highway. This makes the accommodation easily accessible and an ideal starting point for excursions to Balingen, Hohenzollern Castle, the Swabian Alb, Rottweil, Tübingen, Reutlingen, Metzingen, Stuttgart, Lake Constance, or for hiking, cycling, and nature experiences in the region.

Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes. Bed linen and towels are provided by us and are included in the price.
What types of coffee machines are there?
The large "Hörnle" apartment has a Jura automatic coffee machine with beans at your disposal. The small "Lochen" apartment has a Nespresso machine.
Both apartments also include a French press. An initial supply of coffee or capsules for the first day is included in each apartment.
Are there spices and basic ingredients?
Yes. Salt, pepper vinegar and oil (organic) are provided as basic supplies and may be used.
What equipment does the kitchen have?
Our apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen, including dishes, glasses, cookware, and all essential utensils. Dishwasher detergent is provided for your convenience.
Are there cleaning facilities available?
A vacuum cleaner and dustpan are available.
Is there a fireplace?
Yes. Both apartments, “Hörnle” and “Lochen”, are equipped with a fireplace, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Firewood can be provided on site for €6 per box.
Are children allowed in the apartments?
The apartments are not specifically equipped for children. Safety or toddler features (such as socket covers, a baby cot, or a high chair) are not available. For this reason, the accommodation is only partially suitable for children under the age of 10. In addition, there is a deep pond in the private outdoor area without child safety fencing. The apartments are well suited for older children and teenagers. Babies are, of course, welcome.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Free Wi-Fi is available and sufficient for working from home. A fiber optic connection is not currently available.

Is there an outdoor area?
Yes. A small cottage garden with a seating area invites you to relax outdoors. In addition, there are several peaceful spots to enjoy: the kitchen balconies and the “Himmelsliege” (sky lounger) offer further retreats to unwind and take in the fresh air and tranquil surroundings.
Where can I do my grocery shopping nearby?
In the surrounding area you will find several supermarkets and drugstores, including EDEKA, REWE, Lidl, Aldi and dm. The nearest supermarkets are about 3 km away and can be reached within just a few minutes by car. In the village itself there is also a butcher’s shop and a small wine store.
Do guests receive the AlbCard?
Our leisure guests receive the AlbCard free of charge during their stay. It provides access to numerous leisure activities in the region and includes the use of public transport in many areas. Business travellers are excluded from this offer. Further information about the benefits can be found on the official AlbCard website.
