About Us

Welcome to Lerchenhof – your temporary home on the Swabian Alb.

Our farm was completely renovated and reimagined in 2014: a former farmhouse was transformed into a place of peace, open spaces, and hospitality. Since 2016, we have welcomed guests from near and far who appreciate relaxation, nature, and a lovingly furnished atmosphere.

We – Christine and Bernd Sommer – run the Lerchenhof with great joy and a lot of personal dedication. For us, hospitality means more than just providing accommodation: We want you to feel welcome from the very first moment and to be able to fully enjoy your stay.

Our two holiday apartments span two floors and combine modern comfort with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Beautiful rooms, carefully selected materials, and thoughtful details create a home away from home. From our terrace, the view stretches across orchards to Hohenzollern Castle – a panorama that many of our guests particularly appreciate.

Our farm is located in Erzingen, a district of Balingen – in a quiet location yet with excellent transport links. The region offers hiking trails, nature, culture, and easy access to Tübingen, Stuttgart, Lake Constance, and the Swabian Alps.
